Good morning, another sunny and hot day in Florida, should be at least 100 today. I am taking a couple days off from golf, think I was getting burned out, played about 10 days straight, enough, even for me. Besides Hannah needs some help with the twins, they are both sick and wearing Hannah a bit thin. I went with her to the doctors on Monday, that was a treat, you should all have the chance to go with two 5 month olds to the doctors, I don't know how the doctors and nurses put up with sick kids all day. Hopefully they are on the mend, colds, congestion, just don't feel good. Also this morning I have to take Addie to school for placement testing, she starts Kindergarten in the fall, should be fun. Easier than stay home and watching two sick babies.

Played golf last weekend in the Oxford Land Golf Association Invitational, what a mouthful and really its bunch of redneck locals having a good time. Reggie Caruthers, owner of Oxford Land Company(real estate) has his own golf group, the Oxford Land Golf Association. A great group of guys, not all rednecks, actually there is a little bit of everything in the group, and once a year he has the tournament, a two day affair with food and spirits for everyone. This year in addition to playing, I was the official scorekeeper. Some say that is why I won third place, but those who played with me know it was my skill and ability. This year we had 44 players, with handicaps from "0" to 28, A great time was had be all, thanks to Reggie for a very nice week end.

A little neighborhood news, the peacocks are gone, for good I hope. I think I have in past posts talked about the peacocks and the mess they made and how they ate all of Nancy's flowers, well, one came up missing, some thought he got to close to the canal and a gator got him, doubt it but that was one down two to go. I guess the owner got sick of people complaining about them and he found a home for them. If some one in your neighborhood gets peacocks watch out, they are not nice to have around. Peacocks RIP.

Not much else, Nancy is in Vermont spending time with her mother and later this week Sarah and the girls arrive in Tunbridge for the summer. For those who don't know Andrew and family have moved to Denver, first non island assignment in quite awhile. Andrew is now the General Manager of the Ritz Carlton Denver, I may have to dig out my snow skis and head west, NOT(skiing). Also Andrew and Sarah will be adding to their family in October, our sixth grandchild.....
